Chandrakanta is a television series about the undying love set against the brawl and rivalry between the Naugarh and Vijaygarh Kingdoms. Virendra Singh (played by Shahbaz Khan), the Prince of Naugarh and Chandrakanta (played by Shikha Swaroop), the Princess of Vijaygarh are passionately in love with each other. However, they long for each other due to the battle between the two kingdoms. King Maharaja Surendra Singh (played by Parikshit Sahni) of Naugarh and the King of Vijaygarh (played by Surendra Pal) used to be the best of friends, but later became the best enemies when Prince Virendra was accused of murdering Prince Shakti Singh of Vijaygarh. Because of Chandrakanta's exquisite look and elegance, every kings and villains used war and black magic just to marry her.
