9-1-1 is an American procedural drama television series created by Ryan Murphy, Brad Falchuk and Tim Minear for the Fox Broadcasting Company. The series follows the lives of Los Angeles first responders: police officers, paramedics, firefighters and dispatchers.
The series premiered on January 3, 2018. 9-1-1 is a joint production between Reamworks, Ryan Murphy Television, and 20th Century Fox Television and syndicated by 20th Television. In March 2019, Fox renewed the series for a third season which set to premiere on September 23, 2019.
In May 2019, Fox ordered a spin-off series titled 9-1-1: Lone Star that will star Rob Lowe, is set to premiere on January 19, 2020 during the 2019–20 TV season.
