Life for former United Nations investigator Gerry Lane and his family seems content. Sarika and Karan are employed in a big city called Mumbai in India. They meet, have a date, and find that they are attracted to each other. They do not know nor care of each others' backgrounds, and get married. They start to live in a small apartment. One day Karan asks Sarika to deliver a parcel for him via an Indian airline, which she does. The authorities stop her, and a search reveals that she was carrying drugs in the parcel, and she is arrested. After her arrest, Karan visits her and assures that this is all a big misunderstanding, and she will be found not guilty and let out soon. This does not happen, Sarika is found guilty, is convicted and sentenced to a long jail term. While in prison, it slowly and painfully dawns on her that she has been used, and wants to avenge this. In order to get even with Karan, she must first of all either wait for the sentence to get over or be more daring and escape, take Karan by surprise and avenge her humiliation. Which way will Sarika take?

Four friends Raj Malhotra, Boney, Neelam Chaudhary and Sheetal decide to play a practical joke on Sheetal's dad Kailash Nath. They telephone Kailash and tell him that his daughter has been kidnapped and demand a ransom of Rs. 200,000. Things seem to go according to plan until the police headed by Raj's elder brother Suresh Malhotra have been informed by Nath's servant. They manage to elude the police only to return and find that Sheetal has been stabbed to death with all the evidence pointing towards them.

Police inspector Prabhat Singh is sent to Kenya on a mission of apprehending the crime lord Azghar Jurrat. Prabhat's mission is one of duty as well as vengeance: his younger brother had been murdered by Jurrat after Prabhat shot and killed Jurrat's brother in the line of duty. Prabhat is accompanied by an ex-convict Akash Bharadwaj who also seeks revenge against Jurrat for massacring his entire family. In Kenya, their liaison with the local police is Surya Pratap Singh, a tough and honest police officer of Indian origin. Since Jurrat is a respected citizen in Kenya without any police record, the task before Prabhat and Akash is made doubly tough, as they now have to collect solid evidence of Jurrat's criminal empire all the while evading the watchful and suspicious eyes of Surya Pratap Singh. Little does Surya Pratap know that the unknown assailant who caused his wife's death and his daughter's traumatized condition happens to be Nagraj, Jurrat's son.

Jannat 2 revolves around a smuggler Sonu Delhi KKC who deals in illegal guns. ACP Pratap Raghuvanshi is a sincere police officer who has taken the oath to demolish the illegal guns business. The entire movie moves around Mangal Singh Tomar, the gang leader dealing with the illegal guns and how Sonu Delhi and ACP Pratap Raghuvanshi fight back to demolish the gun smuggling business. The tale begins in Mumbai where a sophisticated gang of robbers is sweeping through the city, giving nightmares to the police department. And so starts the hunt - where sometimes the hunter becomes the hunted. Dhoom reinvents the classic cops and robbers tale and brings it into the 21st century. With fast bikes, big action, non-stop fun and a thrilling story that leaves you out of breath, Dhoom is a powerhouse of adventure and excitement waiting to explode. It's like your favourite roller coaster ride - once you're on, the only thing you want to do is to go back and take that ride all over again.

2004 Hindi film directed by Sanjay Gadhvi

Delhi University's Professor Avantika Ahuja meets fellow professor Ehsan Khan in typical Bollywood-film style and they fall in love. Her father, who wanted her to marry a Hindu, reluctantly permits them to get married; after they do, they relocate to the United States. They buy a house, settle in, and are welcomed by their neighbors, Hamid and Anjum. A few days later Avantika's world will be turned upside down when she finds out that their neighbors are terrorists who want to avenge the deaths of innocent Iraqi and Afghani civilians massacred by British and American forces, and that her husband is not who he claims to be.

A double-bill of thrillers that recall both filmmakers' favorite exploitation films. "Grindhouse" (a downtown movie theater in disrepair since its glory days as a movie palace known for "grinding out" non-stop double-bill programs of B-movies) is presented as one full-length feature comprised of two individual films helmed separately by each director. "Death Proof," is a rip-roaring slasher flick where the killer pursues his victims with a car rather than a knife, while "Planet Terror" shows us a view of the world in the midst of a zombie outbreak. The films are joined together by clever faux trailers that recall the '50s exploitation drive-in classics.

Wealthy Vikrant Raina gets the news from his estranged wife, Malika, that their only child, a daughter, Sonia, has been kidnapped. Vikrant is subsequently contacted by the kidnapper, who makes it clear that he does not want any money. Instead he wants Vikrant to perform a number of tasks, including burglary, breaking an inmate out of prison, and murder.

Critically wounded and lying unconscious in a Mumbai hospital, ACP Yashvardhan of the Narcotics Control Bureau reflects on his life and his love-affair with Maya. With the assistance of the Commissioner as well as his colleagues, Atul, Kamlesh and Mahesh Pandey, and an informer, Arvind Shetty, he was able to apprehend drug-dealers in Kutch, Gujarat; Jalandhar, Punjab, as well as in Himachal Pradesh. Unknowingly, he paved the way for Vasu Anna Reddy to become the sole drug-dealer and invite his Mombasa-based brother, Vishnu, to join him. An encounter with the team kills Vasu, and some of the team gets suspended. A vengeful Vishnu decides to target the entire police unit as well as their respective families, and vows that he will not rest until he has killed them all. He starts with brutally killing Mahesh and his wife, Rachna, and then abducts Atul's wife, Swati - with a motive of forcing the former to do away with the remainder of this police team.

2011 Indian film directed by Nishikant Kamat

Modern day Bombay is ruled by Bangkok-based underworld don, Khalid Bin Jamal, who has the Home Minister, A.R. Sarang, as well as the Police Commissioner on his payroll. Khalid would like to get rid of a number of thorns on his side, namely S.P. Naidu, a former aide; A.R. Sarang, who has been flip-flopping; and Bombay Police's Encounter Specialist Suryakanth Satham. He manages to sway Sarang on his side, arranges for Suryakanth to be be suspended, charged with killing two innocent bystanders, and held in a cell. Khalid reaches an understanding with Suryakanth, who is immediately released and is reinstated - with a condition that he must kill Naidu and his followers. Suryakanth ruthlessly does away with Naidu's followers, but spares Naidu himself - who is eventually killed by Arbaaz and Hari, Khalid's brother and henchman respectively. It is then that Suryakanth shows his true colors - when he shoots Arbaaz and Hari in an 'encounter' after the violent death of the Home Minister. The Central Bureau of Investigation (C.B.I.) move quickly and arrest Khalid himself and hold him behind bars. It is here that Suryakanth will find out that Khalid is far more powerful and influential than he ever imagined - he will find his life being turned upside down; he will be forced to send his girlfriend, Shradha, to an undisclosed location - while he himself will be suspended again pending an inquiry into his conduct - while Khalid, with the help of aspiring Chief Minister, Devki Wardhan, will soon be given a clean chit by the C.B.I. themselves.

The film deals with a newly married couple caught on camera at a hotel during their honeymoon. The video is released on the Internet and the bride ultimately commits suicide. The husband, in pursuit of revenge, delves into the world of underground pornography, eventually traveling to Amsterdam and Switzerland to seek out the criminals of the underground pornography industry that profited from the film.

They are: Yashvardhan Rampal, known as 'Major' educated intelligent, unemployed, with an ailing wife who longs to return to India; Non-English speaking Jay Rehan, otherwise known as 'Ajju', a foul-mouthed, trigger-happy gangster; A out-of-work former nightclub bouncer, Marc Issak, whose girlfriend, Lisa, is a bar dancer, and who is known to get into fights due to his uncontrollable temper; A drug deal, Raj Yadav, otherwise known as Bali, foul-mouthed, womanizer, stutterer, and alcoholic; Bali's sidekick, Maqbool Haider, otherwise known as Mac; White-collared Anand Mathur, alias Andy, recently separated from his wife, Renu, and longing to get back together with his son, who he cannot get custody of due to financial problems. The six confer in a cell, cite woes that even though the Italians have their Mafia, the Colombians have their Cartels, but the East Indian criminal community is yet to forge a Bhai-type organization, resulting in their getting pulled-in as the usual suspects every time there is a crime involving a colored person. They plot to get back at the cops by robbing the American Services Bank, perhaps the only bank which has a majority of it's clientèle employed by the city police. They plan and carry out this caper quite successfully, but when they exit the bank, they find themselves surrounded by the Police. After a shoot-out, They do manage to escape and meet in a secret hideout, to not only share the loot, but also try and find out who betrayed them. Ajju abducts Police Interrogator, Detective MacQuarrie, and it is through him they learn that their informer is one of them - and they must find out his identity - kill him - then divide the loot amongst them and disperse. The only problem is the informer is not willing to come forward - and the gangsters end up suspecting each other and their respective motives.

The lives of the disparate group of employees and patrons at a Boston watering hole called "Cheers" over eleven years is presented. Over much of this period, Sam Malone (Ted Danson), a womanizing ex-Boston Red Sox pitcher and an alcoholic, owns the bar, its purchase and this life, which was his salvation from his alcoholism, which was largely the cause of the end of his baseball career. He ends up having a love-hate relationship with intellectual Diane Chambers (Shelley Long), who he hired as a waitress and whose cultured mentality is foreign to anyone else in the bar. He also has an evolving relationship with Rebecca Howe (Kirstie Alley), who managed the bar for the Lily Corporation, which bought it from Sam, but whose outward business savvy belied the fact that she was a mess of a woman who was struggling to find her place in life. The regular patrons are largely a bunch of self-identified losers, who bond because of their shared place in life, and because "Cheers" is their home away from home, and in many ways more a home than their actual home as witnessed by the fact that there "everybody knows your name".

He releases the monkey in the woods and spreads the disease in the beginning of an outbreak in a small town in California. Now Colonel Daniels, his ex-wife and their teams must fight the invisible enemy while Colonel Daniels discovers dark secrets from his superior General Donald McClintock.
