Housed in a redbrick former jailhouse dating from 1878, this elegant bed-and-breakfast is flanked by trees. It's a mile from both Highway 20 and from tours of the Ulysses S. Grant Home, and 3 miles from Galena Golf Club. The 6 refined suites feature gas fireplaces, and come with wet bars and smart TVs, as well as microwaves, minifridges and Keurig coffeemakers. Some have brick ceilings, living areas and/or whirlpool tubs. A 3-course breakfast is served in a polished dining room. Afternoon cheese and wine are offered. Children age 15 and over are welcome.
