The Man in the High Castle (1962), by Philip K. Dick, is an alternative history novel wherein the Axis Powers won World War II. The story occurs in 1962, fifteen years after the end of the war in 1947, and depicts the political intrigues between Imperial Japan and Nazi Germany as they rule the partitioned United States. The titular character is the author of a novel-within-the-novel entitled The Grasshopper Lies Heavy, itself also an alternative history of the war.

Najbolj je znana po svojem debitantskem albumu Begnagrad iz leta 1982 – v recenziji na portalu AllMusic je bila skupina opisana kot »prvi slovenski kandidat za rock slavo, a nikoli ni bila opažena«.Skupina je nastala leta 1975 v zasedbi Bratko Bibič, Bogo Pečnikar, Igor Muševič in Vlado Špindler, tri leta zatem pa je prenehala z delovanjem. Leta 1981 je ponovno začela biti aktivna, a tokrat brez Muševiča in Špindlerja. Namesto njiju so se skupini pridružili Nino de Gleria, Aleš Rendla in Boris Romih. V tej zasedbi so tudi posneli album Begnagrad, leto kasneje pa je tudi ta zasedba prenehala z delovanjem. Leta 1990 so izdali še album Jodlovska Urška, ki je bil posnet leta 1977 v originalni zasedbi in naj bi bil prvi album skupine, a iz neznanih razlogov takrat ni bil izdan. Tri leta kasneje so izdali še zadnji studijski izdelek, Tastare (Theoldwones), ki prav tako sestoji iz posnetkov iz leta 1977.

Patlabor: The TV Series, known in Japan as Mobile Police Patlabor (機動警察パトレイバー), is a 1989-1990 anime television series. It was created by Headgear, animated by Sunrise, and based on the Patlabor anime franchise. The story focuses on Second Special Vehicles Division (SV2), a group of Patlabor policemen who fight and investigate crimes. The TV series is an alternate timeline to the original Patlabor OVAs and films, with an all-new origin story.The television series was animated by Sunrise and was directed by Naoyuki Yoshinaga.With success of the first movie, Patlabor became one of the first OVAs to be ported to TV. Originally planned for 24 episodes, (up to the end of Kanuka's practicum at SV2), the series was extended twice. First to 36 episodes, to cover the conflict with Schaft, and then to 47 episodes in order to conclude the series.
Later in the story, Kanuka Clancy leaves and a new character is introduced, exclusive to the television series, named Takeo Kumagami. The Patlabor: The New Files OVAs are a follow up to the series.
