•	I’m very pleased that I went back and read this book again. I realize now that there was much in it that I didn’t understand the first time. Some had to do with the archaic and somewhat verbose language that Elwood used. Some may have been a little too intense for me at the time. At any rate, in this book, Elwood was writing as if he was a demon. The demon he wrote about, Observer was every bit a demon as Satan or any other demon. Observer thought that he wasn’t as bad as the others. Throughout the book, he chronicles with disgust all the acts his master made him do. He realizes later that he’s just as bad as all the others. In this book, Elwood really seems angry at those not in line with his Biblical view. Some of it was a little hard to read. I think that it may have to do with the political correct society we live in. Sometimes I found myself wondering if what he was saying was the character he was writing as or his own feelings. We’ll see in later books.

•	One of the descriptions on the cover of the book is that this book is beautifully brutal in its depictions of the havoc Lucifer and his demons have wrought. That is very true. There were points in this book that I felt physically ill, but there were also parts that I could almost feel real joy for these fictional characters. Elwood’s descriptions of Heaven were very moving. His interactions with the various demons were very poignant. I remember that this book was something that I liked the first time I read it, but that I really didn’t understand the nuance of it. I see the message that Satan is what he is and always will be, but also that God is what he is, and always will be as well.

I am reading the Angel Walk Triglogy right now. The first book, Angel Walk, is about the Angel "Damien" who is reflecting on the battle of the Angels and somehow cannot believe in his mind, or can't remember that Lucifer was so bad. He meets with God and tells him that he would like to find Lucifer somehow believing he can change his and the others Angels minds to come back to Christ. He walks the earth and it is a grueling walk. The second story "Fallen Angel" is written by view of one of the bad Angels "Observer" and it is his job to record all of Satan's wrong doings. I am over half way through the second story now. Again, some things just hard to accept. The third story "Stedfast" "The Guardian Angel" is suppose to come from a Guardian Angels view. I am hoping this will be more uplifting than the first two books. The first two books are written as though narated by the Angel himself.Angel Walk got me thinking about God. How awful it must have be for him creating the Angels and having half of them turn on him. Then creating us, another disappointment. How easier said than done, it is for us to be completely honest and good in everything we do in life. If or when Judgement day arrives.....how difficult will it be to find people so pure of heart that can make it through the doors of Heaven. Those are the kind of thoughts that surfaced. I also thought it was a bit difficult to follow at times.  This was some hard reading for me because these books make you think/reflect about your faith and everything you do and say in life. I struggled with the idea of no second chances given, the gay issue and much more. Elwood does not hold back on these issues most of which I am reminded from from my Catholic faith. I will return with more when I actually finish all three books. Not exactly what I am use to reading but I can say... will be remembered.

The novel is set during World War II, from 1942 to 1944. It mainly follows the life of Captain John Yossarian, a U.S. Army Air Forces B-25 bombardier. Most of the events in the book occur while the fictional 256th Squadron is based on the island of Pianosa, in the Mediterranean Sea, west of Italy. The novel looks into the experiences of Yossarian and the other airmen in the camp, who attempt to maintain their sanity while fulfilling their service requirements so that they may return home.

The second part is the Greek New Testament, containing 27 books; the four canonical gospels, Acts of the Apostles, 21 Epistles or letters and the Book of Revelation.
