TheOmar Rodriguez Lopez Group(often referred to by its acronymORLG) is an American experimental rock band, and the main side project of Omar Rodríguez-López. Featuring the ever-changing lineup of musicians alongside Rodriguez-Lopez, the group is most often a live entity to perform the various outlets of his solo music aside from The Mars Volta. After the dissolution of The Mars Volta in 2012, Omar completed a few more solo records until 2013 before deciding to pursue only collaborative efforts with groups At the Drive-In, Bosnian Rainbows, Antemasque, and Crystal Fairy.His group began asOmar Rodriguez Lopez Quintet, formed in 2005 when he toured Europe to support his self-titled solo record. The quintet included three other members of The Mars Volta: Juan Alderete, Marcel Rodriguez-Lopez and Adrián Terrazas-González as well as Money Mark of Beastie Boys fame. Omar began this group with these members within only a year or two of them joining The Mars Volta. The album features long, largely improvised instrumentals with Dutch titles. The quintet then collaborated with Damo Suzuki on a 25-minute EP titledPlease Heat This Eventually, which was largely taken from a night recorded on their European tour in November 2005. The EP was released exclusively by Gold Standard Laboratories on vinyl only in December 2006, then released widely in January 2007. Another collaborative EP followed later that year, this time between the quintet and Lydia Lunch, as well as the full-length record,The Apocalypse Inside of an Orange, which was a double album vinyl.

Delaney & Bonnie were the American musical duo, singers and songwriters Delaney and Bonnie Bramlett. In 1969 and 1970 they fronted a rock/soul ensemble, Delaney & Bonnie and Friends, whose members at different times included Duane Allman, Gregg Allman, George Harrison, Leon Russell, Bobby Whitlock, Dave Mason, Rita Coolidge, King Curtis, and Eric Clapton.Delaney Bramlett (July 1, 1939, Pontotoc County, Mississippi – December 27, 2008, Los Angeles) learned the guitar in his youth. He moved to Los Angeles in 1959, where he became a session musician. His most notable early work was as a member of the Shindogs, the house band for the ABC-TV series Shindig! (1964–66), which also included guitarist and keyboardist Leon Russell.

Bethany Dillon (born September 22, 1988), known since 2008 by her married name, Bethany Barnard, is a Contemporary Christian music artist. Her self-titled 2004 debut album was the highest selling female solo debut for that year, and attracted Gospel Music Association nominations for both Female Vocalist and New Artist of the Year. Her album Waking Up (2007) included production assistance of the GMA's 2005 Producer of the Year, Ed Cash, as well Will Hunt and John Alagia. Her sixth and seventh albums were Stop & Listen (2009) and A Better Word (2017). Barnard's work has appeared on the soundtrack albums of several feature films, including the single "Hero" in Dreamer (2005, from her second album, Imagination of that year), as well as singles for the Music Inspired by The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe (2005) and Bridge to Terabithia (2007). Dillon wed Shane Barnard of Shane & Shane on March 29, 2008, and began producing her music as Bethany Barnard from that date.
