Fernando Pessoa was many writers in one. He attributed his prolific writings to a wide range of alternate selves, each of which had a distinct biography, ideology. and horoscope. Alejandro Jodorowsky, entre otras muchas cosas, recogio en sus libros La danza de la realidad (Siruela, 2001) y Psicomagia (Siruela, 2004) la base teorica de esta tecnica sanadora creada y desarrollada por el. Su parte practica la encontramos por primera vez reunida en Manual de Psicomagia, que, con sus mas de 300 consejos, pretende ayudar a todas aquellas personas que ante diferentes problemas psicologicos, sexuales, emocionales o materiales desean sanar, liberar o mejorar su vida. A lo largo del libro, estos consejos practicos nos ensenan a desprendernos de ideas nocivas o de la influencia negativa que el pasado familiar puede ejercer sobre nosotros; a mejorar aspectos de nuestra vida laboral o economica, de la salud, de la vida en pareja o en soledad; a enfrentarnos al sentimiento de desamparo, de odio, de celos, de inseguridad, de fracaso, de pesimismo, de inferioridad, de abuso sexual, de cobardia, de no haber sido querido, etcetera. Finalmente, varios actos de psicomagia para consultantes sanos, y otros tantos dirigidos a la sociedad, anteceden a mas de cien consultas individuales que atendio el autor de quienes le pedian informacion a traves del Tarot.

Para quem não conhece Alejandro Jodorowsky aconselho vivamente a que veja este documentario, sobre o que talvez tenha sido o melhor filme nunca feito: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1935156/?... Como já tinha visto esse documentario sabia que o autor era um génio daqueles muito sui generis (a roçar a insanidade). Estando o livro ao preço de 3€ online decidi comprar.Devo dizer que se a obra terminasse na página 283 teria dado 5 estrelas, sendo que foi das melhores histórias de vida que já li. Essa parte é uma autobiografia de Jodorowsky, onde o autor Chileno começa por expor a sua infância extremamente difícil, o seu crescimento no meio artístico da América do Sul e França: como poeta, ator, criador de marionetas, bailarino, palhaço, encenador, mimo e realizador de cinema. Apresenta também um rol imenso de situações caricatas e experiências sociais de intervenção que fez, hoje chamaríamos de Marketing Guerrilha. E tudo isto é contado de uma forma tão lúcida que se torna arrepiante.A 2ª parte do livro, que vai da pag. 285 à pag. 374 (contando com apêndice) fala sobre Psicomagia e Psicoxamanismo. Não ponho em causa as virtudes destas doutrinas mas é algo que não me interessou muito (e eu faço bastante leitura sobre espiritualidade e psicologia), sendo muito específico e com um ritmo completamente contrastante da 1ª parte do livro, que é genial.Leiam a Dança da Realidade e fiquem a conhecer o íntimo de um verdadeiro artista. De um verdadeiro criador.

Three separate but parallel stories of the U.S mortgage housing crisis of 2005 are told. Michael Burry, an eccentric ex-physician turned one-eyed Scion Capital hedge fund manager, has traded traditional office attire for shorts, bare feet and a Supercuts haircut. He believes that the US housing market is built on a bubble that will burst within the next few years. Autonomy within the company allows Burry to do largely as he pleases, so Burry proceeds to bet against the housing market with the banks, who are more than happy to accept his proposal for something that has never happened in American history. The banks believe that Burry is a crackpot and therefore are confident in that they will win the deal. Jared Vennett with Deutschebank gets wind of what Burry is doing and, as an investor believes he too can cash in on Burry's beliefs. An errant telephone call to FrontPoint Partners gets this information into the hands of Mark Baum, an idealist who is fed up with the corruption in the financial industry. Baum and his associates, who work at an arms length under Morgan Stanley, decide to join forces with Vennett despite not totally trusting him. In addition to Burry's information, they further believe that most of the mortgages are overrated by the bond agencies, with the banks collating all the sub-prime mortgages under AAA packages. Charlie Geller and Jamie Shipley, who are minor players in a $30 million start-up garage company called Brownfield, get a hold of Vennett's prospectus on the matter. Wanting in on the action but not having the official clout to play, they decide to call an old "friend", retired investment banker Ben Rickert, to help out. All three of these groups work on the premise that the banks are stupid and don't know what's going on, while for them to win, the general economy has to lose, which means the suffering of the general investor who trusts the financial institutions. That latter aspect may not sit well with Baum. Some of these assumptions may be incorrect and may be far more manipulative than they could have ever imagined, which in turn may throw curves into the process.

In 1930s Italy, a carefree Jewish waiter named Guido starts a fairy tale life by courting and marrying a lovely woman from a nearby city. Guido and his wife have a son and live happily together until the occupation of Italy by German forces. THREE BILLBOARDS OUTSIDE EBBING, MISSOURI is a darkly comic drama from Academy Award nominee Martin McDonagh (In Bruges). After months have passed without a culprit in her daughter's murder case, Mildred Hayes (Academy Award winner Frances McDormand) makes a bold move, painting three signs leading into her town with a controversial message directed at William Willoughby (Academy Award nominee Woody Harrelson), the town's revered chief of police. When his second-in-command Officer Dixon (Academy Award winner Sam Rockwell), an immature mother's boy with a penchant for violence, gets involved, the battle between Mildred and Ebbing's law enforcement is only exacerbated.

McMurphy has a criminal past and has once again gotten himself into trouble and is sentenced by the court. To escape labor duties in prison, McMurphy pleads insanity and is sent to a ward for the mentally unstable. Once here, McMurphy both endures and stands witness to the abuse and degradation of the oppressive Nurse Ratched, who gains superiority and power through the flaws of the other inmates. McMurphy and the other inmates band together to make a rebellious stance against the atrocious Nurse.

The film follows three young men and their time spent in the French suburban "ghetto," over a span of twenty-four hours. Vinz, a Jew, Saïd, an Arab, and Hubert, a black boxer, have grown up in these French suburbs where high levels of diversity coupled with the racist and oppressive police force have raised tensions to a critical breaking point. During the riots that took place a night before, a police officer lost his handgun in the ensuing madness, only to leave it for Vinz to find. Now, with a newfound means to gain the respect he deserves, Vinz vows to kill a cop if his friend Abdel dies in the hospital, due the beating he received while in police custody.

After his death sometime in his 43rd year, suburbanite Lester Burnham tells of the last few weeks of his life, during which he had no idea of his imminent passing. He is a husband to real estate agent Carolyn Burnham and father to high school student Jane Burnham. Although Lester and Carolyn once loved each other, they now merely tolerate each other. Typical wallflower Jane also hates both her parents; the three suffer individually in silence in their home life. Jane tries to steer clear of both her parents. Carolyn, relatively new to the real estate business, wants to create the persona of success to further her career, aspiring to the professional life of Buddy Kane, the king of the real estate business in their neighborhood. Lester merely walks mindlessly through life, including at his job in advertising. His company is downsizing, and he, like all the other employees, has to justify his position to the newly hired efficiency expert to keep his job. Things change for Lester when he falls in love at first sight with Jane's more experienced classmate, Angela Hayes. Both Janie and Angela can see Lester's sexual infatuation with Angela, who courts such attention from any man as a sign that she is model material, she having once appeared in Seventeen and is a career to which she aspires. Lester's infatuation with Angela gives him a reenergized view on life, where he openly doesn't care anymore what anyone thinks about what he does, anyone except Angela. This infatuation coincides with the Fittses moving in next door: homophobic disciplinarian US Marine Colonel Frank Fitts who rules the house with a military fist (that fist being both figurative and literal), his semi-comatose wife Barbara Fitts, and their bright and quietly subversive 18-year-old son Ricky Fitts, who openly abides by his father's rules while behind the scenes lives by his own quite different perspective. Much like Lester's infatuation, Ricky immediately becomes infatuated with Jane; he considers girls like Angela as ordinary. The entry of Angela and the Fittses into the Burnhams' lives ultimately leads to each of the players confronting what is truly in his or her heart.

THIS SUMMARY CONTAINS SPOILERS. - In London, the Russian pregnant teenager Tatiana arrives bleeding in a hospital, and the doctors save her baby only. The Russian descendant midwife Anna Khitrova finds Tatiana's diary written in Russian language in her belongings and decided to find her family to deliver the baby, she brings the diary home and ask her uncle Stepan to translate the document. Stepan refuses, but Anna finds a card of a restaurant owned by the Russian Semyon inside the diary and she visits the old man trying to find a lead to contact Tatiana's family. When she mentions the existence of the diary, Semyon immediately offers to translate the document. However, Stepan translates part of the diary and Anna discovers that Semyon and his sick son Kirill had raped Tatiana when she was fourteen years old and forced her to work as prostitute in a brothel of their own. Further, Semyon is the dangerous boss of the Russian mafia "Vory v Zakone", jeopardizing the safety of Anna and her family. Meanwhile, Semyon's driver Nikolai Luzhin gets close to Kirill and Semyon, climbing positions in the criminal organization, but he helps Anna, her family and the baby.

Six different people, each from a very different walk of life, awaken to find themselves inside a giant cube with thousands of possible rooms. Following a truck hijack in New York, five criminals are arrested and brought together for questioning. As none of them are guilty, they plan a revenge operation against the police.
