4,5Questo arco narrativo mi sta piacendo tantissimo e anche questo volume è tra i miei preferiti dell'intera serie. L'Agenzia sta attraversando un momento di vera difficoltà: bollati come criminali, terroristi e traditori, i nostri protagonisti se la stanno passando davvero brutta. Non si hanno notizie di Kunikida e di Ranpo, il presidente Fukuzawa è stato arrestato, Dazai sta giocando la sua partita con Dostoevskij, Yosano, Kenji e Tanizaki sono ancora "ospiti" della Port Mafia. Gli unici che hanno un minimo di libertà di movimento sono Atsushi e Kyoka, con il primo che decide di stringere un accordo con Fitzegerald che decide di sostenere l'Agenzia, evitando accuratamente di denunciare i nostri disadattati alla polizia militare. In cambio del suo supporto, Yosano dovrà curare la povera Mitchell, rimasta in fin di vita dopo l'attacco di Akutagawa: una volta ritornata in salute, lei potrebbe essere l'unica in grado di eliminare Hawthorne.Ma la vera protagonista di questo volume è la dottoressa Akiko Yosano: il volume 16 getta luce sul passato oscuro della donna, cosa che porterà a capire come mai l'amicizia tra il dottor Mori e il presidente Fukuzawa sia andata a farsi benedire. Infatti, il viscido capo della Port Mafia aveva sfruttato il potere di Yosano quando quest'ultima era solo una ragazzina: la presenza di persone con poteri soprannaturale sui campi di battaglia aveva rivoluzionato il concetto stesso di guerra. Nel caso specifico di Yosano, la poverina era costretta a curare qualsiasi tipo di ferita, in modo da poter rispedire i soldati in prima linea un numero infinito di volte, un ciclo spezzato solo dalla morte di questi poveracci. Ecco perché la ragazzina è stata definita "l'angelo della morte". A segnalarla particolarmente sarà il suicidio del soldato che le ha regalato la farfalla di metallo che lei indossa sempre. Dopo i traumi e gli anni di prigionia, vedremo come Ranpo riuscirà a convincere la giovane dottoressa a unirsi all'Agenzia, l'unico posto in cui può fare la differenza pur senza usare il suo potere - ecco perché il presidente Fukuzawa ha chiesto espressamente a Mori di evitare di scegliere Akiko, di non riportarla tra le file della Port Mafia, ma il dottore farà orecchie da mercante. Questo excursus nel passato di Yosano, ci aiuterà anche a scoprire l'identità del quinto e ultimo membro dei Cani da Caccia, Michizo Tachihara, una persona che ha un conto aperto con lei, che ha accettato di infiltrarsi nella Port Mafia per avere l'opportunità di avvicinarsi al suo bersaglio. E ovviamente, il volume si chiude sul più bello...

Entre el viernes y hoy me leí un montón de capítulos que todavía estoy procesando. Algunos incluso los he releído por lo atrapante que es la trama, sus personajes, las conexiones entre ellos y qué es lo que mueve a cada uno desde lo más profundo de su ser.Soy consciente de que, como toda historia, tiene sus fallos e inconsistencias aquí y allá. Pero, ¿realmente importa eso? No soy fan de juzgar algo con objetividad si se trata de una pieza artística. Si algo te hace sentir bien al momento de consumirlo (hablando de productos mediáticos, claramente), y todo en tu mente tiene sentido a su modo, entonces me parece suficiente.Un manga espectacular, y eso que me falta un poquito todavía para estar al día.

I absolutely LOVE Ken Wakui storytelling. Yeah it's a little cheesy, the time travel stuffs will never be well explained, its a classic yankee setting for god's sake... but that's doesn't really matter cuz &gt; the emotions &lt; are always on point! That's crazy.. I'm so invested, i just can't-

This was another good volume focusing on the fight between different people, we have everyone on the look for Gojou and them taking on different opponents, here the major thrust of the battle is Yuuji vs Choso, and since the latter has blood manipulation cursed techniques its becoming hard for him and even with his insane attacks and then taking him to the bathroom and using water to coagulate blood and make it difficult for him, its becoming more hard. The moment Yuuji thinks he has got an up on him, he comes and strikes with something else. But Sukuna is there also..meanwhile Nanami and Maki find someone else and this looks like a strong curse user. The book is getting interesting and the story really good and just showing the stakes of the series!

This is showing some more depth to all the characters, and showing that people can and will change. I also like that it's not romanticizing the delinquent/gang lifestyle. These kids go through hell and put others through hell, and that's definitely shown.
