Jackie Chan, an amateur archelogist, would prefer to quietly do his work for the local university, but fate has dealt another hand. Sheen Estevez, our protagonist, despite a warning from his friend Jimmy Neutron about a button on his ship presses it to see what happens. He finds himself on another planet. No humans... The planet is ruled by "The Emperor". Sheen is pursued by Dorkis, our adorable clueless bad guy, who has intentions of capturing our protagonist. Sheen is accompanied by Nesmith, a talking talking chimpanzee who has also found himself marooned upon this planet.

This Yu-Gi-Oh spinoff explores more serious themes. The story takes place in a dystopian future where Domino City has been divided into Neo Domino and the Satellite sector after a tragic incident. Satellite residents are looked down upon.

Accelerator is considered the most powerful psychic in Academy City and one of a few able to shift to the level 6. He, however, now lives a peaceful life and tries to recover from the past injuries. His rest is interrupted, when a rogue group within Anti-Skill called DA that is obsessed with bringing justice to Academy City so much that it would even opt for kidnapping and experiments on humans, causes pure havoc in the city. While Accelerator does not like to be bothered and hates problems, Disciplinary Action, or DA is enough of a threat for Accelerator to take actions, mainly because of the fact that the group, for some unknown reason, is trying to kidnap The Last Order. Now only Accelerator can save the Academy City and The Last Order from the zealous fanatics, working in DA.

They are soon joined by Beyal, a monk from the Himalayas along with his Monsuno Glowblade. Beyal often speaks of five people that with the help of their Monsuno, could change the world. It just so happens that they are that five, along with Dax, a teenager who along with his Monsuno Airswitch, opposes the team and is disliked among most people. The team has yet to befriend him and persuade him to join their cause. They are also on the run from an agency called "S.T.O.R.M." (Strategic Tactical Operatives for Recovery of Monsuno) who's plans are still in question.

Dan Kuso's life changed one day when cards fell out of the sky, which he and his friend Shun used to invent a game called Bakugan. With other friends, they form a group called the Bakugan Battle Brawlers, and then are accidentally dragged into fighting for the fate of Vestroia (the Bakugan's home dimension). Vestroia loses its natural balance and merges with the Earth and many other worlds. An evil Bakugan called Naga was tempted to take the power of the Infinity and Silent Cores, which formed the Perfect Core that balanced Vestroia, but absorbed too much negative energy and thus was trapped within the Silent Core and destabilised Vestroia. So Dan and the brawlers decided to bring back balance by meeting new friends and allies in the other worlds, learn more about the origin of the Bakugan; and facing Naga, a rogue bakugan who seeks the mighty Infinity Core so that he could complete the all-powerful Perfect Core and have almighty power and absolute control over Earth and Vestroia.
