In a landmark 1847 redbrick mansion with Colonial Revival styling, this refined B&B is 7 miles from the Biltmore Estate and 5 miles from the Thomas Wolfe House. Accommodations range from genteel rooms in the manor, to suites in a carriage house and a poolside cottage. All have period furnishings and flat-screens; many feature fireplaces or claw-foot tubs. Suites add sitting areas and whirlpool tubs. Breakfast is served in a grand dining room or on a porch. Other freebies include afternoon snacks, a coffee bar, and parking.
