Cavalier by the Sea

This long-standing, family-run oceanfront motel is adjacent to US Route 158, 1 mile from the Wright Brothers National Memorial and 2.5 miles from Avalon Fishing Pier. The no-frills rooms, some with wood paneling, all come with cable TV, microwaves and minifridges. Some have kitchenettes, while oceanfront rooms have porches which open onto the beach. Cottages with 2 or 3 bedrooms, full kitchens and living rooms are also available. Parking is free. For recreation there's an outdoor pool, a kids' pool, a playground, shuffleboard, volleyball and picnic tables, as well as direct beach access.
