Music like Signal Hill

Signal Hill is an American four-piece instrumental rock band originally from Los Angeles, California. They have released two full albums and two EPs.

Signal Hill emerged in the fall of 2004 with Tim Cooper (drums) and Dave Masters (guitar), having originally met in Phoenix on unrelated business. Soon after, they both met with Rishi Arora (guitar) and Brian Vasallo (bass) in Signal Hill, California. The band cites that through their shared experiences and appreciation for musical influences such as indie rock, instrumental and post-rock, electronic music, and jazz, they were able to quickly connect with one another and began making music shortly thereafter. The band records its albums in Signal Hill, California (the band's namesake), at The Compound Studio.
