The Very Sleepy Bear
""A great big bear like you," said Fox, "so big and strong and brave, a creature so magnificent ...... deserves a bigger cave."And so the journey begins....A sleepy bear desperately needs a cave to hibernate to in, as the crystalline-confetti of winter has already began shroud the woods, little does he know of Fox's true intent. This book was a riveting read from cover to cover, with a twisting plot and captivating character. The true beauty of this story lies in the simplicity it holds, much like Vincent Van Gogh's "irises", and the book easily hold the reader attention without the use of elaborate sentencing and confusing vocabulary, instead using the elegance of rhyme. 'A very sleeping bear' demonstrates through the original storytelling that there's no place like home. The ending satisfying for the reader with a twist of humour at the nature justice of it. It is definitively a read-in-one-sitting book and I would highly recommend it. (Have you even read this wonderful example of fiction, Liam?)
