I basically agree with every other review here. While the novella within isn't that compelling, nor the first short story, the entire book is worth it for the last short story which gives us the tale from Holo's perspective, a series first. And while, once again, the story is none to compelling within this short story, the characterization and fleshing out of Holo's character and the love she shows for Lawrence is absolutely heart warming, even if it is sometimes wise-assish as is Holo's way. It's an absolutely adorable story that, as someone else has said, manages to give us a better look at the romance than the last six books combined. In fact, my biggest problem with the series is how drawn out the romance is and how it's not always very direct. It's strange that a thirty page story can somehow give us a better view at how Holo thinks of her companion than the 1300 pages that came before. I love this series. Holo and Lawrence are both great characters and even if the romance is drawn out, it is still adorable.
