Odd and Chilling Encounters: True stories of the unknown

I read this book for free; I have a free 2 month trial of Kindle Unlimited. Woot!!  The stories are supposed to be from different people. I have a hard time believing that because they all read like they were from the same writer.   The first half, The stories were mundane and average. Boring in some places because it was the same style.  There are chapter titles separating categories.  My favorite and by far the scariest, which also seemed the most believable was the Ouija board category.  This category was towards the end of the book.  After reading about Ouija boards, I was officially creeped out. I stayed that way until I finished the book.  As you can tell, the second half was better than the first.   Some stories had url links that linked to reddit. I liked this idea because I could go to the source for credibility.  If the editor took stories from people online, I wish he/she had urls for all the stories.  It would be helpful and the stars (from me) would be higher.
