Books like Moulin Rouge!: The Splendid Book That Charts the Journey of Baz Luhrmann's Motion Picture

Generally speaking this is a fun book about how they made the very popular film Moulin Rouge! I like how the book is very simple and very straight to the point about how they made decisions about the screenplay, editing, costume design, make up, etc. I feel at times it is needed to go into extreme detail depending on the film but for this particular movie I like how it was simplified. I also like that they had a lot of production photos from guest photographers so you really feel that you were there and all I thought that it was a nice touch for the big fans of this film. I like this film but I wouldn’t say that I am a huge fan of it, but this book would definitely get a 5 stars from a huge fan of the film, so if you are the type of person who enjoys reading ‘’movie” books then I’d say you’ll like this fine but if you are a huge lover of the film you will definitely love this book! I just want to say not related to this review but this COVID19 quarantine has made me go beyond my current target of number of books to read for 2020 I hope everyone is okay and are reading and praying!
