Books like Glory: War Torn

For all the Rob Liefield bashing that goes on, much of it deserved I think, the guy can create good concepts, even it it does takes others to fully realize what those concepts can be. Much like what was done by Brandon Graham with Prophet, Keatinge builds on Liefield's and Alan Moore's work on Glory, taking her from a Wonder Woman knockoff and giving the reader a much more developed mythology.Glory has a complicated family history which unfolds in this volume. Two sisters, conflict with both of her parents, and arguably a well handled bi-sexual love life. For those who wants big, bloody, battle scenes there are those to be had. What makes this a slightly above average read is the ambiguity that is created.Is Glory a bigger danger to those around her than the ones they are tracking down? I don't know if we get a definitive answer, and plot threads are left hanging in case Keatinge returns tot he character.
