Books like Bogeymen Don't Play Football

This book is about a group of kids that have a student teacher in their class. He is the biggest and meanest looking teacher they have ever seen and it turns out that he plays football for his college. He says that he'll het them if they don't do their homework and they start to believe him when they all start hearing scary sounds coming from under their beds at night. When they are all scared to death they find out that his football team has done so well they are going on tour and are all relieved.I would use this book during a lesson on realistic fiction. Everything that happens in this book could happen in real life and I would use this as an example and then have them write a short realistic fiction story.
