"The World of Rosamunde Pilcher", a gorgeous book of high quality photographs, takes you to the locales in England and Scotland that inspired Pilcher's novels. The book includes autobiographical information, a few recipes, and quotations from her works that are matched to the photographs. The settings include the rocky coast of Cornwall, windswept beaches of Scotland, fields of heather, English gardens, country cottages, and beautiful castles. I have never read any of Pilcher's novels, but I can tell she has fabulous taste in her settings.Note: Goodreads has combined two different Pilcher books here.
