Books like The Pirate-Cruncher

This is the second of Jonny Duddle's pirate books I've read. The first one I read in French (which is not my first language) so I didn't really get the benefit of all the wordplay. In this book, we have a bunch of greedy pirates being led on a treasure hunt by an old fiddler who conveniently forgets to tell the pirates what's guarding the treasure...The plot turned out to be just okay for me. I'm not sold on the ending. The pictures, though, are a lot of fun. I'd like to see more of Duddle's work simply for the illustrations.So... this is just average. I'd still like to read the other book in this pirate series, though.
