Books like The Invisible Island

I am currently reading The Invisible Island by: Ron Roy! I am not very far because I just started, but think this book will be great because the kids in the book are adventurous, curious, and risk takers! I also think it will be a good book because all of the other books Ron Roy has written have pulled me out of my chair. So far this book has been great and they are about to encounter their adventure of the invisible island. This book has a lot of good descriptions like the water was shallow enough to wade across. I think the author does a good job of describing the setting, kids personalities, and their feelings. One thing the author only includes in the first book is the description of the kids (what the kids look like.) Over all this book has been great and I can't wait to read about the adventure the 3 kids encounter. I would recommend this book to people who like mystery books and people who like to be on the edge of their seats while reading! So far I would give this book about three or four stars.
