Books like Geek Girl Collection 3 Books Set, By Holly Smale

A cute series of books, but one that also requires a bit of that ol' "willing suspension of disbelief" when it comes to viewing how fifteen/sixteen year olds act, given that Harriet seems to display the maturity of a twelve year old at certain points. Also wasn't quite down with the whole jokey business of Toby as Harriet's personal stalker, in all honesty. And -- this might be on me rather than on the books themselves since I read all three in about four days -- I felt a bit fatigued with it all by the time the end of Picture Perfect rolled around. Comes with the territory when you're reading an omnibus version, I suppose.But, dang it, Harriet was just too cute and likable a character for me not to like the books. I was thoroughly entertained. And when it comes to books of this sort I don't think a reader has a right to expect much more.
