Dean Koontz's Frankenstein Omnibus: The First 3 Novels
The trilogy of the first 3 Frankenstein novels could just as well have been put together as a single book and spared us the endless repetition of explanations and references. What started as a pretty good yarn became steadily more tedious and bogged down as it drew to its inevitable apocalyptic conclusion. I'm not sure I'll be reading Book 4 - he's flogged the main characters far too long. Deucalion showed a lot of promise but the parts of the books are so spread out and disjointed he gets buried in all the fluff and fuss. Sorry about all that - I had high hopes for this one *sigh*
