Books like Being Mrs. Cane

So I am going to sum up books 2-3.5 in this review since I just read them back to back. It's been awhile since I had finished book 1 but I knew I needed to finish the series after I was left reeling from the the first books ending.I have always been a fan of Shanora Williams and love her style of writing. This series was a little different from what I normally read but I was intrigued after the first book. The storyline is unique and my curiosity had me glued but I dont think its William's best work. You may read it and it will become your favorite series but it was lacking for me. The romance was lovely although at times a bit childish and repetitive. There was drama and sometimes it flowed easily with the dialogue and others it felt forced. Even though this may not be her best work, in my opinion, the storyline is still good. I look forward to what William's releases in the future. Till then, buy the series and enjoy.
