Books like Trixie Belden and the Mystery of the Queen's Necklace

5/28/16: A reread from 2008, I read a couple of friends' reviews and wondered if maybe I was too generous giving this one four stars. But I don't want to downgrade it to three. More like 3.5. I think I like it more than I thought, and more than most of my friends do. Yes, Trixie is pretty obnoxious in this one, but hey, she's 14. Yes, Miss Trask is a pod person in this one, but hey, she never gets any chance at romance in the series. She was probably just off her head. ;) I read this one because I'm coming up on my very first trip to London this summer and am very excited. I even looked up Tiddy Dol's because it sounded so good, but unfortunately, it went out of business several years ago. :( I really did like the setting of this one, especially the trip to Stratford, and I think that is probably enough to overcome the flaws.Not a favorite, but always a special place in my heart because it was the book my very first Trixie Camp was based on (with Niagara Falls substituting for England). Only four Bob-Whites got to go, Miss Trask was a pod, I couldn't believe the bad guys' motivation, but I did like the setting and all the places the Bob-Whites visited while in England.
