Tanaka and Yoshikawa are adorable as ever. Honestly, this manga may have more blushing than any other I’ve read. Beyond the cuteness, though, it’s also a reflection on change. How do you deal with it when you, or your feelings, or the people around you change? How do you figure out what you want during those times? But I’m starting to see the weirdness my husband warned me about. Someone else in the class develops an obsessive crush on Tanaka, and I wasn’t clear by the end of the volume whether that arc was resolved or if it could flare up again. The female music teacher, who’s taken an interest in class “resident bad boy” Nagai, is bad news, but I can’t quite tell yet if the author or any of the characters know how wrong her behavior is. On to volume 3 and maybe I’ll find out.
