The first book concentrated on oldest sister, Susan, and this one tells the story of middle sister Christine, a pastry chef who has just her career and her love life crash and burn in NYC. When she returns to the island, she runs into her old nemesis from high school, Zach, who is now a chef, and they find out they have more common interests than just cooking. The seaside setting, the family dynamics, and the romance provide a relaxing escape for the reader.
