1.9/5

I cannot say enough about this book. It changed my life in so many ways....Oh, wait, we're not talking about The Bible? Oh, Crusade by Greg Crites? Yeah, it was good too. I'd say on the all-time list of books, number two on the list, right under the Good Book. Oh, wait... number three. One being The Bible, two being the Satanic Verses, then three, Crusade by Mr. Crites. The third book of all time ain't too shabby. Neither is Mr. Crites gymnastic ability with words, not to mention his uncanny ability to create hysterical characters that I don't have to give a damn about, I just have to enjoy.I'd be remiss if I didn't mention that as a writer, I spent a good amount of time after reading Crusade being extremely resentful of the author's ability and find myself feeling far less superior to him, as a writer, having partaken of his work.Seriously, get this book. The guy's been compared to Tim Dorsey and Carl Hiaasen and I say rightly so, only he manages feats using words that I've never read in either of their work (and I'm a fan of both.)This one isn't to be missed - unless you don't mind missing something good.VERDICT: Greg Crites has got the moves like Jagger, literarily speaking.
