Books like Babysitters Club Collection #19 (The Babysitters Club, #55-57)

Even at the age of 32 these books are still a guilty pleasure after having read my first BSC book (The Truth About Stacey) at the age of 8. Each time I come across one I haven't read before I have to read it and this 3 book edition was no exception. The first story focuses on Jessi as she joins a synchronized swimming team and enters the big school competition. At the same time Kristy challenges another pupil to an obstacle course challenge. Meanwhile Mary-Anne and Mallory try to avoid taking part, with Mallory going to quite drastic lengths. In the second book the serious issue of racism is tackled via a story with Claudia and an unpleasant client. Meanwhile the BSC and their charges form a band called All the Children. In the final book environment issues are the topic in a story where Dawn becomes obsessed with saving the planet following a school project. Of course the BSC and the kids they look after soon get involved.
