Books like The Turner Diaries

DNF. I couldn't make myself read any more of this book. Whenever I picked it up I found another book appealed more. When I put it as the only book in the bedroom, I didn't need to read to get to sleep. It wasn't the bad writing, it wasn't the plot, and it wasn't the characters. What it was, was the author's absolute sincerity in his racist, homophobic, anti-feminist, anti-Semitic views and his dedication to violence and mass murder terrorism as a catalyst for change. Should these male white supremacists and their stupid brainwashed white female counterparts ever gain ascendency, would America be at peace? No. As it is each group hates the next group, each leader has constant threats from gossip and back-biting. As John Safran said in his, Murder in Mississippi, they hate each other as much as they hate the rest of the world. They are united only in having their dominant emotion, hatred. __________"[he] didn't understand that one of the major purposes of political terror, always and everywhere, is to force the authorities to take reprisals and to become more repressive, thus alienating a portion of the population and generating sympathy for the terrorists. And the other purpose is to create unrest by destroying the population's sense of security and their belief in the invincibility of the government."I'm not sure how much more of this I can take. It's really unpleasant to read, sickening actually. It's a right-wing manifesto of terror written by a neo-Nazi White Supremacist. The hatred towards Jews and Blacks, Feminists and LIberals (who wouldn't be liberals if it wasn't the Jews had 'infected' them) is manifest in the book in many ways. Not least the casual murders of a Black storekeeper to steal his money (these people don't feel burglary and murder are immoral in their prosecution of their 'just' war of terror). The enjoyment of killing a Jewish shopkeeper and his wife and the sadness at injuring a White girl whom the protagonist tries to help when he's just been part of blowing up 700 people, her amongst them. Collateral damage.The WWII is blamed on the Jews who spoiled Hitler's reputation with lies and invented the Holocaust, although the author says, next time the extermination will be done better. Jews are "diabolically clever alien slime" or some such. Blacks are prone to rape, violence and murder as they have no brains or moral sense. (I fail to see how this is from the Christian perspective that all the White Supremacist groups espouse).I've just been reading a whole set of books on heredity, genes, the brain and related science by Carl Zimmer. His science relates to humans, when he is talking of genetics, of evolution and the brain he is talking of all humans, not just ones of a specific skin colour which would make no scientific sense. Still less a group whose members come from many nations, very few of whom have any historical relationship to the origins of Judaism in the Middle East. I have several converts to Orthodox Judaism in my family, one a previously-Catholic nurse and the other a Hindu pharmacist, are their children - Judaism goes through the mother's line, now part of the most despised race? If so, how?)One thing unites Right and Left, anti-Semitism. Today a number of Labour MPs, including a couple of high-profile ones, including a Black politician, left the Labour party because of its institutionalised racism. And Corbyn, the party leader, he addressed this? Nah, he was buggering around with his plants on his allotment, cabbages and potatoes are much more important.I don't want to dnf this book, but even in small doses, I'm find it hard going.
