The Poor Man's James Bond

1991, Kurt Saxon

4.5/5

It took me nearly an entire year to read this book. The first few chapters, written by Kurt Saxon himself, were witty and humorous as well as informative, and were really quite easy to read. After that, it just became some really dry, dry reading. That's not to say it wasn't worth it. I didn't personally try out anything in the book, but the general consensus is that it's all very accurate, so that isn't something to worry about. You'll learn everything from poisoning to pyrotechnics, arson to explosives, hand-to-hand combat to military tactics when fighting in the streets of a city.
