Books like The Getaway Car

The Getaway Car! It never gets old, no matter how many times (at least three so far) I read it, and the only problem with it is that it's over too quickly. Now I desperately want to reread Truth and Beauty, but I'm not sure where either of my copies are. The reason I have two copies is that I desperately wanted to reread Truth and Beauty once before, couldn't find my copy, and bought another one. There's a lesson here: Keep your friends close and your Ann Patchett books closer. This axiom served me well today, when I DNFed a drab romantic comedy and pulled The Getaway Car up on my phone for my commute home. No regrets. You should definitely take the time to read this if you're interested in writing or are an Ann Patchett fan. If you're not an Ann Patchett fan, thoughts & prayers. Ann Patchett 4 lyfe! So if you're read that book, you've already read The Getaway Car and you probably loved it. :)
