Books like Stardust

It seemed like it was such a long time ago that I read the first book of Mr. Robertsons “Rebel Stars” series. In reality it was only a couple of years but had fallen off of my radar. Good thing there are author follows and mailing lists. This is a review for the final book but also encompasses the previous one because they were released almost simultaneously.The books are set in the world 1000 years after the events of the “The Breakers” series of books. Earth has recovered from a post apocalyptic virus set upon the upon the human race by aliens to become space faring people. These last 2 tomes deal with the final battles of a new alien threat that wants to wipe humanity from the earth and solar system. The characters are well developed. There are tons of space battles, combat scenairios, action, witty dialog and not too intricate future/near future science. It’s a fun and quick read. Really enjoyed the way the author worked in the characters from “The Breakers”. I would highly recomend starting at the beginning.I also am a big fan of “The Cycle of Arwan/Galand” series by Mr Robertson
