Septimus Heap Angie Sage 7 Books Collection Set Pack

Septimus Heap, Angie Sage

Absolutely fantastic. This series is genuinely one of the best I've ever read. There's just so much lore and an amazing world to discover. The plots and subplots are engaging and exciting. It's a true page-turner. It's like Harry Potter, but a little more medieval and much longer. I don't consider that to be a bad thing, but if you want to have a short series to read then it's not for you. However, it feels a little like there isn't a world past the established one. We don't know if it's just Earth or a completely alternate universe with other countries and geographies. Despite this, the books do reference the country of China and areas that vaguely represent Scandinavian regions, so it can be assumed that their world is just in the general European area. The books also don't really go past the characters at a relatively young age. This can be a good or bad thing depending on how you interpret it. When the characters start the series, at the age of ten, they still end up acting like the average twelve or thirteen-year-old. This isn't a very problematic thing for the series, and in my opinion, it's still wonderful and critically underrated. I only have one question: why isn't it more popular? That probably has something to do with the whole length thing...
