Books like Lunar Chronicles Series Collection 4 Books Set

Even as someone who normally isn’t into fantasy, dystopia, fairy tale retellings, or popular mainstream series, this was a pretty great series. The best book for me was Cress, given the climatic and plot-turning scenes at the end. Two in particular. One of which, without giving anything away, was a very revealing scene where a character finds out some information about her family and background and where she comes from. The other of which is a fight/battle scene that takes place on top of a roof. My favorite characters in this series are Cinder, Cress, and Thorne. All of the characters work well in the story though, and each has his or her own important role. I mostly prefer the characters from books 1-3, as I thought they were a little more well-developed. The writing in these books makes the story flow very smoothly. They are easy reads, even with how thick they are. I really enjoyed the clever spin Marissa Meyer put on fairy tale personas combined with futuristic elements.
