Books like Dragon Spell

This is the last book of a series that takes place in Dragonlance. This is the one where the final battle for the fate of Nearra happens between Asvoria and our group of companions.Do you know how a television show has its finale and the last episode contains all of the minor characters in some appearance but the story suffers? That was this book. It seemed like everyone who crossed our path came for the final battle and they all made it within the same time frame. It was a nice attempt at nostalgia but it became groan worthy. The story was a letdown also. Asvoria was too powerful for this world. I have seen hints of this for awhile but this book took it too far. She made Raistlin look like a kitten. I did like the resolution between Nearra and Asvoria and I like where some of the characters are after this adventure. Some not so much as I felt they were left unresolved and I could say the same thing about a couple of different minor story arcs.This was a disappointment for a conclusion. This series is meant for a YA but I never felt like it was exclusively for them. That changed in this book. I know some of these characters continue to have solo adventures in some more books and I am hoping that some of my issues are corrected.
