Books like Almost Forever

I am torn when it comes to this book.On one side there is:Linda Howard The main guy being a jerk The plot being awesome, with him deceiving her about his identity to get business information Seeing Rome and Sarah (characters from previous book) almost made me cry But then on the other side:Again, the classic LH insta-love, and I mean uber-uber insta-love Loads of scenes that go like this:"You are such a jerk""Oh yeah? We'll see about that!"And then he kissed her savagely!or like this:"I hate you! I don't trust you anymore!""Oh yeah? We'll see about that!"And then he kissed her savagely!you get my point and last, the main characters decided (view spoiler)[to have a baby after only knowing each other for 2.5 weeks, while two of those weeks they were separated and arguing and so on.
