The Decalogue = Dekalog: The Ten Commandments, Krzysztof Kieślowski Dekalog is a 1989 Polish drama series of films directed by Krzysztof Kieślowski for television and co-written by Kieślowski with Krzysztof Piesiewicz, with music by Zbigniew Preisner. Omer Kavur recreates Zebercet, the receptionist of a sad, bleak hotel in a small Anatolian town, adapting him from Yusuf Atilgan's novel in an attempt that seemed risky to others. A film about loneliness, solitude, obsession and depression, evidently one of the most painful films in Turkish cinema.

1986 Turkish film directed by Ömer Kavur

Hye Jung is an uncivilized 16-year-old girl who finds her life miserable and nothing worth living (her mom died when she was little), so she never tries in school and always acts impolitely and violently towards others. Her father leaves her for her grandmother to take care of her. Until she accidentally bumps into a man (Ji Hong) while she steals a CD, and later he moves in her grandmother's house and becomes her teacher at school, her life has completely changed. He discovers that she is intelligent and he tries to keep her back on track. Her grandma wants her to have a good career, and she now believes in her successful future, so she tries to achieve her dream of being a doctor.

Cha Eun Sang and her disabled mother both have to work hard, humiliating jobs, in order to support her older sister who's at university in America. Cha Eun Sang can't wait for her sister, who's her idol, to come back to Korea, and start earning money, so she can stop washing dishes and get a degree herself. However one day, Cha Eun Sang learns that her sister is about to get married, and realizes she'll never return to Korea, so she'll forever have to wash dishes. She resolves to go to America as well, and get better life. However, what she finds in America is far worse than she could ever imagine. Her sister is not only not getting married, but is also not at university, and is earning money working as a waitress, and maybe some shadier side jobs as well. After her sister notices her, they have a fight, she takes all of Cha Eun Sang's money and runs off, leaving her to cry and gather her broken dreams of the pavement. This entire exchange is observed by mysterious Kim Tan, who has completely different set of problems, but decides to take Cha Eun Sang's problems on, as well. At first reluctant to go with a guy who seems all to well acquainted with LAPD, she agrees to go with him simply so to not spend the night on the street. Kim Tan who is same age as her, leaves with no parents around, in a big, luxurious house, which makes her immediately assume he's a drug dealer. Instead of calming her down, he suggest he might also be dealing in human organs to support this life style. Meanwhile in Korea, we see group of privileged, spoiled high schoolers, the future 1% of Korean society, who all seem to be familiar with Kim Tan, and not many of them are fond of him. One of these is Choi Young Do, tall, handsome genius, with rancid personality, who learns that before getting his own stately resorts, he'll first be getting same aged, equally beautiful and "pleasant", step sister, Rachel Yoo, who's also engaged to be married to none other but his arch enemy, Kim Tan.

Cha Dae-woong (Lee Seung Gi) accidentally releases a troublesome gumiho, a legendary fox with nine tails, sealed inside a painting by Grandma Samshin . Fleeing the scene, Dae-woong suffers a life-threatening fall and is only saved by the gumiho giving him her "fox bead". When Dae-woong awakes and meets a mysterious pretty girl, he initially treats her as eccentric or mentally ill, before fully understanding she is a gumiho in disguise-at which point he tries to research gumihos, but fails to find correct information in the library or on the internet. He agrees to stay with her and he tries to keep her happy, while hiding her true identity as a gumiho from all others by introducing her as his friend, Mi Ho. Slowly, however, he becomes less scared of her and more protective of her-finally admitting to himself and to her that he loves her. As the story unfolds, Mi Ho (Shin Min Ah) pursues her goal of becoming human, with the half-human, half-supernatural Park Dong Joo, who has a career as a veterinarian and has been living as a half-human for hundreds of years, informing her that to do so, she must drink his blood and allow a human to keep her fox bead inside their body for a full 100 days - faithfully entering into a Love Contract, and keeping the bead from being harmed by remaining chaste. However, Dong Joo does not mention that at the end of the 100 days the human will die. Mi Ho and Dae Woong fall in love without fully knowing the consequences of fulfilling her goal: namely, that Woong will die if she becomes fully human.
