Ok, this is my favorite series I'm reading right now. I absolutely love it. I love the characters, the author references, the violence and the way these characters get out of things. The mafia is awesome, Dazai is fucking perfect, and adding in the new European characters just makes me want the next volume even more. I love how they explain who the actual authors were at the end as well so we get even more background on who these characters were based on. Ugh, I can't gush enough as a book lover and a fantasy lover, this is amazing. On to the next.

De nuevo vengo a fangirlear de manera vergonzosa con este manga.En este segundo tomo retomamos la historia donde lo dejamos, Narumi y Hirotaka comienzan a salir creyendo que al ser otakus sería fácil su relación, pero nop, las cosas no son tan sencillas y eso salta a la vista al ver el tipo de relación que Tarô Kabakura y Hanako Koyanagi tienen. Kabakura y Hanako han salido desde la escuela y tienen una relación totalmente diferente a la de Narumi y Hirotaka, pero Hirotaka no puede evitar comparar su relación con la de ellos, así que invita a Narumi a una cita (¿escucharon eso? Fue mi corazón volverse loco por Hirotaka). Debo decirles que tanto Kabakura como Hanako también me encantan. Él es un hombre muy serio con cara de enfado pero en realidad es un hombre bastante sensible que además es mega fan del anime y manga. Hanako por su parte también tiene una apariencia fría y gruñona pero en realidad es una persona bastante noble que no duda en ayudar a los demás. A ella también le gusta el anime pero es más fan de los cosplay. De hecho es bastante popular con sus cosplay en convenciones. La pareja que hacen estos dos es bastante explosiva. Mientras que Narumi y Hirotaka son más relados, Hanako y Kabura se la viven peleando entre ellos. Ojo, esto no quiere decir que no se quieran pues me parecen una pareja bastante tierna pero disfrutan meterse el uno con el otro. En este tomo también conoceremos a Naoya, el adorable hermano menor de Hirotaka que es el único personaje principal de la historia que no posee ni una gota otaku en su sistema. Aún con ello Nao intenta comprender a todos los demás otakus pero por más que lo intenta se queda adorablemente perdido. Hay una escena que de verdad amé con todo m ser donde lo invitan a jugar Super Smash Bros y el pobre es de verdad un completo inútil (y aquí me sentí tan él porque soy un asco en ese juego). Y no me miren raro, pero estoy enamorada de la inutilidad otaku de Nao (claro que amo más a su hermano mayor...)Además en este tomo conocemos más del pasado de Narumi y Hirotaka. Los veremos de niños compartiendo algunos momentos y los veremos también de adolescentes, es aquí donde hay una escena que rompió mi negro corazón pues es donde nos queda claro que Hirotaka siempre ha sentido algo por ella y ella evidentemente sólo lo ha visto como su amigo otaku. Para finalizar la reseña de este tomo voy a contarles que hay un capitulo donde Hirotaka, Narumi, Hanako y Kabakura se unen para jugar en línea y es sin duda alguna uno de los mejores capítulos que he tenido el placer de leer en un manga pues todo resulta tan hilarante, desde la intromisión boba de Nao hasta la facilidad y frialdad con la que Hirotaka salva las vidas de sus compañeros.Ya lo dije en la reseña del primer tomo pero tengo que volverlo a decir, Wotakoi es un manga que va a encantar a todos los fans de anime, manga y videojuegos, un manga que sin duda no se pueden perder.

In which it turns out that Tomo-chan was a girl the entire time.A cute ending for a cute series. We knew from last volume that Jun had finally decided to pull his head out of his ass, but there are still a couple more obstacles in the way before these two kids kick things up a notch.Just what happens as friends go from being friends to something more? That’s the big query at the heart of this volume and I do give this series a lot of credit for staying very true to itself up to the bitter end. There are ways to answer the above question and there are the specific ways these characters would answer this question and the book smartly leans into the latter wholesale, accompanied by some fun bits and a lot of shojo sparkles (one of my favorite runners in this volume is how characters are drawn MUCH cuter than usual when the sparkles are out).Outside of the last obstacle in Jun’s way, which is a bit silly (and which Tomo rightly berates him for not mentioning), this is a satisfying conclusion with some decent gags, a welcome bonus chapter, and a very on-brand first kiss.I do wish there had been a smidgen more closure. Make no mistake, your Jun/Tomo needs are being served here, but they weren’t the only people around - Carol and Misuzu have carried the series just as much, if not more.You could argue that Carol got most of her storyline resolved in volume 6 (ironically when Misuzu got very unpalatable), but there’s just so little else BUT Jun/Tomo here. Given how complex she was, I’d have liked to see more done with Misuzu at the end. For the rest, I especially missed one last appearance of the gyaru girls who were often hanging out on the periphery of things.3.5 stars, which is pretty much where I would leave this series as a whole. It was fairly amusing and had some very funny moments but was far from perfect. Rounding down this time because of a couple story issues, plus the fact that it’s simply not as consistently humorous as the last volume.

What starts off as a bizarre re-telling of the Chinese legend "Journey to the West" quickly transforms into pure madness. Yuji Itadori, a kind-hearted teenager, joins his school's Occult Club for fun, but discovers that its members are actual sorcerers who can manipulate the energy between beings for their own use. He hears about a cursed talisman - the finger of Sukuna, a demon - and its being targeted by other cursed beings. Yuji eats the finger to protect his friends, and ends up becoming Sukuna's host. However, Yuji discovers that he has inherited magic and is able to control this power without interference from Sukuna. He joins the Tokyo Metropolitan Magic Technical College to consumes all of Sukuna's fingers, which will enable a full exorcism to take place that will free him.
