When Raj (Shah Rukh Khan) and Simran (Kajol) first met on an inter-rail holiday in Europe, it wasn't exactly Love at first sight but when Simran is taken back to India for an arranged marriage, things change. Encouraged by his father Dharamvir (Anupam Kher), Raj decides to fly down from London to not just win his Bride but her whole family and the blessings of her father Baldev Singh (Amrish Puri).

Samar Anand, a hard working young immigrant in the city of London, glimpses upon the love of his life, a gorgeous angelic looking girl, (Katrina Kaif). They meet and their bond blossoms into love with time spent together. Samar however meets with a serious accident, and Meera vows to God she will leave Samar forever if he allowed him to live again, their love affair ends as quickly as it began. Samar angered with God and fueled with his love for Meera, declares War against Him. Samar Anand vows to walk into the jaws of death everyday as a challenge to God to keep him alive. He becomes Major Samar Anand in the Indian Army, a bomb disposal chief, defusing bombs without ever wearing a bomb suit. It is here that Major Samar also known as 'the man who cannot die' meets Akira (Anushka Sharma), a spirited vibrant, 'today's generation' Discovery Channel correspondent with a WTF attitude. Aware of Samar Anand's story, Akira is determined to unravel the mystery of love in this intriguing story, whilst herself falling hopelessly in love with Samar. Is Akira able to unravel the mysteries of love, does Samar win the battle or then does God surrender to his love?

Rahul is a singer, who loses his career due to his drinking habits. He meets Arohi in a bar in Goa, where she works to earn a living. Aashiqui 2 is a musical love story of these lovers who goes through love and hate, fame and failure in their lives. However will they stay together accepting their success, or will they breakup due to their ego?

Ram (Shaam) and Lakshman a.k.a Lucky (Allu Arjun) are brothers. Ram is a sincere guy who grows up to become an honest cop. Lucky is a happy-go-lucky guy who enjoys life. Ram and Lucky have a tom and jerry kind of fight going on. Siva Reddy (Ravi Kishan) is a factionist who wants to become a politician. Ram gathers evidence against Siva Reddy and Lucky unintentionally intercepts them. The rest of the story is all about the race between Lucky and Siva Reddy.

The film begins when Vasudeva Shenoy (Anoop Menon), a police constable by profession, proposes to his colleague Lakshmi (Lena) with a strong objection from Vasudeva Shenoy's mother. In the meantime Kunjunni Menon (Santhosh Keezhattoor), a thief, who disguised as a police inspector, falls in love with Lakshmi. Kunjunni Menon then convinces Lakshmi and her family to agree to marriage. Lakshmi later comes to know that her husband had cheated her. Lakshmi and Kunjunni however pretend to have an amicable marriage as she gives birth to Adithyan (Dulquer Salmaan). On the same day Vikraman (Unni Mukundan) was also born to Vasudeva Shenoy and his new wife. Laksmi further gives birth to two daughters. Kunjunni gets caught by Shenoy after committing a theft and was dragged to the jeep in front of his son (Adityan). Adithyan becomes very depressed and refuses to accept his father. Kunjunni unable to face his son, commits suicide. Adityan (Dulquer Salmaan), Vikraman (Unni Mukundan) and Deepika Pai(Namitha Pramod) befriend each other as schoolmates and the story proceeds to their adulthood. Faced with many hardships, Adithyan transforms into an intelligent man. He falls in love with Deepika and she reciprocates his feelings. In a string of events, Adithyan and Vikraman are in a competition for the SI (police) selections. Shenoy frames Adithyan with a crime he didn't commit, forcing Adithyan out of the SI selections. Adithyan runs away and returns many years later. With the help of Lokesh IAS (Nivin Pauly), Adithyan becomes an IPS officer and the new Assistant Commissioner of Police of Kochi, Kerala. Vikraman takes charge as an SI and Deepika unites with Adithyan. The film ends with Adithyan and his family standing up against the people that once teased him as the "thief's son".

A beautiful Love story where a guy named Balan( Dulquer Salmaan) has a break up with his girl friend and there break up some how becomes viral on social media. As he was trying to over come the stress of break up he meets Sheela(Nithya Menen) in a Taxi, But in a rush she drops her old digital camera which Balan picks up and tries to return to her with a help of his friend Ummer. Finally when he finds her, She (Sheela) tells him that she is his (Balaan) school mate with whom he had a huge fight. Balaan gets over the past and invites her to a new year eve dinner and returns the camera to her. She explains why this camera is so important to her and she is making a 25th anniversary surprise for her parents in which Balaan also helps. Balaan find out sheela is with a boyfriend named Rahul and she get engaged with Rahul. Eventually Balaan convinced her(Sheela) that she believes in love and to choose him over Rahul. Sheela falls in love with Balan at the end and gets married with him. Though the story is nothing new but the direction, songs, story telling and cinematography amazes the viewers and keeps them attached to the end.

A little mute girl from a Pakistani village gets lost on her return back from a trip to India. In Kurukshetra, she meets Pawan - an ardent devotee of Lord Hanuman - who is in the midst of a challenge posed by his lover's father. In trying to discover the girl's parents, he develops an unshakable bond with her. He tries to get into Pakistan through a path righteous to his conscience and later, accompanied with a smart Pakistani news reporter - a story that captures the imagination of the public in both countries.

The second story has Arjun, a student who loves his bike and is a bike mechanic. The duo ACP lead the investigation into the theft of bikes which take place in Kochi metro.
