The questions printed on the cover of this book is the reason for which I bought this book….and I did not find the answers in any page. I guess this book’s body language is misleading.As the writer stated at the end “Body language as a science is in its infancy, but this book has explored some of the ground rules…”It’s an introductory book in body language, so don’t expect it to quench your thirst in this field.

Aunque tiene muy buenos mimbres para ser una gran novela criminal histórica, le pasa como a la primera entrega: se queda en las tres estrellas y media (3 1/2). Probablemente porque, a pesar de la vehemencia con la que los autores quieren transmitir la crudeza de los crímenes y su motivación, algo falla y no acaban de lograrlo; o puede que debido a esa extraña dinámica del personaje central con su mujer y el resto de los que le rodean, que hace que uno no acabe de tener claro qué está pasando en según que momentos... Claro que mi mayor problema es que la primera parte no me resultó memorable (de hecho, no recuerdo lo que pasaba) y eso influye en la continuidad de los personajes en la segunda.Otra pega más: el supuesto gran golpe de efecto final, que resulta en la resolución del crimen (o crímenes), no es para nada sorprendente, resultando en extremo fácil deducir mucho antes qué está pasando realmente.Aún así, la novela es amena, se lee con fluidez y tiene una notable ambientación histórica. Destacaría también la dinámica del personaje principal (Stiffenis, o como se escriba :/) con el francés Lavedrine y el carácter atormentado de Helena como reflejo del momento histórico.

The Winslow family is a pretty normal family except for one thing, their neighbor Steve Urkel. A genius and klutz, Steve makes some really weird inventions while driving the Winslows insane and having an unrequited crush on Laura, the Winslow's middle child.

This sitcom is about the fairly ordinary daily lives of young newlywed New Yorkers, too-nice-for-his-own-good filmmaker Paul Buchman and his assertive partner Jamie Stemple Buchman, who are almost constantly (working up to) bickering and making up with each other and just about anybody else, notably his parents and siblings, her sister, their colleagues, friends, superintendent, and neighbors, psychotherapist, all kinds of staff, customers, officials, bystanders etc., even their dog Murray and his dog-walker.

Darrin (Dick York/Dick Sargent) and Samantha Stephens (Elizabeth Montgomery) are a young, bi-species married couple: he's a mortal human being, she's a witch, something which she does not divulge to him until after their wedding. Darrin just wants them to live a simple, mortal life, to which Samantha agrees, meaning no witchcraft and no telling any of their mortal friends and relatives of her being a witch. However, that no witchcraft vow is difficult to maintain if only because of Samantha wanting or needing to use it to get out of one scrape or another, and her relatives, especially her mother Endora (Agnes Moorehead), the most constant thorn in Darrin's side, against the marriage and the idea of denying Samantha's heritage as a witch. Mortals in their lives also add to their complicated lives: Darrin's friend and spendthrift boss, Larry Tate (David White) of McMann and Tate Advertising, who always wants Darrin to do all the work while the company gets all the glory and money; their nosy neighbors, the Kravitzes, Gladys Kravitz (Sandra Gould/Alice Pearce), who always arrives at the most inopportune time to show her exasperated husband Abner Kravitz (George Tobias) that something funny is going on in the Stephens house; and Darrin's parents, his mother, Phyllis Stephens (Mabel Albertson), who is prone to splitting headaches which become more prevalent as she thinks she sees things in Samantha that just couldn't be in her mortal view. That complicated life gets even more complicated when they start a family, the children who could be mortal or who could be witches and warlocks.

Hyacinth Bucket (whose name she insists is pronounced "bouquet") continually looks for opportunities to climb the social ladder, though she's wedged on a rung just below her sister Violet (whose house has a swimming pool, sauna, and room for a pony) and just above her working class sisters Daisy and Rose. Hyacinth's passion for flawless entertaining unnerves her neighbor Elizabeth, who is often invited to the Bucket home for coffee. Elizabeth's divorced brother Emmet, who also lives next door to the Buckets, tries to avoid Hyacinth because she breaks into song in his presence in the hope he'll cast her in one of his "little theater" musical productions.

Lionel Hardcastle and Jean Pargetter were lovers many years ago at the time of the Korean War. They are separated by a misunderstanding but meet again by chance when Lionel needs a secretary from Jean's firm. He takes her daughter, Judith, out on a date and discovers she is Jean's daughter. The two reunite and fall back in love.

After a Jewish, high-voiced, woman from Flushing, New York gets fired from her job and dumped by her boyfriend, Fran Fine (Fran Drescher) is mistaken as applying for a nanny for widowed Maxwell Sheffield (Charles Shaughnessy), who has three children, Maggie (Nicholle Tom), Brighton (Benjamin Salisbury), and Grace (Madeline Zima), when she is stuck selling cosmetics in Manhattan. As she spends years there, she becomes great friends with the butler, Niles (Daniel Davis), and the three kids. She is good friends with the widowed man, and some romance sparks through the years.

The Golden Girls is based on the lives and interactions of four older women who have all been divorced/widowed, and are now roommates. Dorothy's main goal during the series is to find a companion she can relate to while her mother Sophia adds her comical outlook and frequent "Picture This" stories. Rose's St. Olaf-ness makes her a little corny but lovable. One thing that changes nearly every episode is whom Blanche is courting.
