 Sherlock Holmes and his faithful sidekick Dr. Watson leave London to go to the rural Boscombe Valley in Herefordshire. Charles McCarthy has been murdered in the woods by a pool, and his adult son James--who had been arguing violently with his father minutes before--was covered with his father's blood. McCarthy was the tenant of another, more wealthy former Australian, John Turner, and the men had known each other in Australia. To thicken the plot, McCarthy was pushing his son to marry Turner's daughter but James was refusing (that's what the argument was about), and Turner didn't want his daughter to marry James either ... though the daughter (who hired Lestrade to help exonerate James) seems to be on board with the idea.The evidence looks damning and the son has already been convicted in the court of public opinion, but you can trust Sherlock Holmes to get to the truth of the matter. Like most of these short stories in The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes collection so far, I didn't found the mystery terribly mysterious. I figured out who the murderer was, but not why it happened -- though really there's no way to figure out why without certain facts that you find out only after the identity of the murderer is disclosed. Once again we see that Doyle's version of Sherlock has a bit of a soft spot. Next up: The Five Orange Pips.

To avoid losing his job, he creates a fictional wild and westernized twin Ayyampettai Arivudainambi Kaliyaperumal Indran by removing his moustache on the advice of his actor friend Nagesh and becomes the music teacher for his equally wild daughter. Confusion and complications ensue when he has to recruit a small-time actress as his mother, and a kid who knows the proceedings starts blackmailing him.

American military drama/police procedural fictional television series

The staff of Carlo's Bakery in Hoboken, New Jersey, led by Buddy Valastro, shows how it prepares elaborate themed cakes for various occasions. Each episode typically features the preparation of two cakes for events including receptions, charity events and theme parties as well as weddings and birthdays.

The best of the reality series crop is back, with 12 teams of 2 players each racing around the world, trying not to be eliminated at a series of checkpoints in which the last team to arrive is booted from the show. CBS chooses teams with relationships containing at least some tension, especially when the situation involves intense pressure. This season includes such duos as two circus clowns, a gay married couple, a father and son, a recently engaged couple, married couples, and best friends.

The straight-laced Prof. Utonium's attempt to create perfect little girls accidentally includes "Chemical X", resulting in take-charge red-head Blossom, blonde sweety-pie Bubbles and ready-to-fight brunette Buttercup. These flying, super-strong, karate-chopping girls with the occasional heat vision race into action to save the city of Townsville (and, we're told, the world) from all sorts of crimes and creatures.

American animated television series from 1998–2005

Twelve finalists and/or future singers (six men and six women) who were selected from America, compete in a talent contest in which they were asked to sing any song they like on this "Star Search" clone. After each song that was sung, the judges, Abdul, Jackson and Cowell, then critique that finalist's chosen song. After each show's ending, America must vote for a finalist to whom they really think their performance is good using this AT&T (now Cingular Wireless) or any other cellular phone to cast votes with. Once the votes are locked in, the judges and America decides who has the most and the least amount of votes, and the contestant with the least amount of votes is eliminated, and it goes on each week's show until the winner is crowned as "American Idol," where he/she wins a recording contract worth up to $1,000,000. The rest of the other finalists to whom they have been voted off before (the runner-up) also get recording contracts, too.

A beautiful Asian girl dies and misses her boyfriend. She tries to get him back in under 7days in a boy's body. Later to find out, her boyfriend's true love is not her.

In this modernized version of the Conan Doyle characters, using his detective plots, Sherlock Holmes lives in early 21st century London and acts more cocky towards Scotland Yard's detective inspector Lestrade because he's actually less confident. Doctor Watson is now a fairly young veteran of the Afghan war, less adoring and more active.

The coach then has to choose one of them to get through to the live shows.

Fashion Star is an American reality television series on NBC, hosted by Louise Roe. The contestants compete with each other to create the best clothes and are restricted in time, materials and theme. Their designs are judged, and one or more designers are eliminated each week. Fashion Star features unknown designers competing for a chance to have their creations bought.
