Chibi-Robo! is a platform-adventure video game for the GameCube developed by Skip Ltd. and published by Nintendo. The game was released in Japan in 2005, and in North America and Europe the following year. Originally conceived as a point-and-click adventure game, it was put on developmental hold until Nintendo producer Shigeru Miyamoto gained interest in the title and overhauled its production.
The player takes on the role of the eponymous character, Chibi-Robo, a 10-centimeter-tall robot owned by the Sanderson family. Gameplay revolves around navigating a household and collecting "Happy Points". These points are accumulated by completing various tasks from housework to helping solve the dilemmas of the Sanderson family and the numerous living toys that inhabit their household. Every action by the game's battery-powered protagonist consumes energy, requiring the player to recharge using the home's electrical outlets.

Dig Dug is a maze arcade game developed and released by Namco in 1982. The player controls the titular character, who must eliminate all of the enemies on the screen by pumping them up with air until they explode or causing rocks to fall on them. The game was published by Atari, Inc. in North America and Europe. It runs on Namco Galaga arcade hardware.

We Love Katamari is a 2005 third-person puzzle-action video game developed and published by Namco for the PlayStation 2. It is the sequel to the 2004 sleeper hit Katamari Damacy. Consolevania is a video games TV show filmed in and around Glasgow, Scotland. It is notable as one of very few online TV shows to make the leap onto broadcast TV as the show videoGaiden, which has had four series shown on BBC Scotland.
The name Consolevania is a reference to Konami's long-running horror-adventure game series Castlevania and was chosen by Rllmuk forum members before the first episode was shot. Fittingly, the first game reviewed on the show was Castlevania: Lament of Innocence.
