Sidika tells the adventures of Saka and the Saka family from Sinop, who live in a suburb of Istanbul. Siddiqa is a humorous housewife who has been able to educate herself even though she has not been sent to school. He has a poor brother, an oppressive and alcoholic father, a mother who thinks Sidika is problematic and intends to marry him as soon as possible.
