Antón Álvarez Alfaro (born July 16, 1990), better known as C. Tangana, is a Spanish rapper from Madrid, Spain. He is a member of the rap group Agorazein together with Sticky M.A. (formerly known as "Manto"), Jerv.Agz., Fabianni and I-Ace. He began his musical career in 2005, under the pseudonym of "Crema", with a demo called Él Es Crema. Through the years, Tangana has managed to make his name big in the Spanish urban music industry headlining high-profile festivals such as Primavera Sound. In 2020, he was named one of the most influential people and most creative artists in Spain by Forbes Magazine.

Álvarez was born in July 1990 in Madrid of Galician and Madrileño parents. His birthplace has always been something very meaningful for him. In his teenage years, while studying at the San Viator School (a Catholic charter school) he manifested that he wanted to dedicate to something related to art. In 2005 he started making music under the alias "Crema".
