The release date of Grand Theft Auto 6 has not been announced yet. But it might be the time for you to revisit Los Santos, Liberty City Bank, or even Vice City?

Grand Theft Auto VI
- Game
- 2.7/5
Many things hint that it’s the time for Rockstar to announce this game, and the fans’ excitement hits a peak at GTA Online servers, forums, and, well… Everywhere. However, it still looks as if it is years away, although that isn’t probably what you wanted to hear. Some estimates rumor that the earliest release of the game could be in October 2021, but frankly, I believe it’ll be 2022 at best. Remember - Rockstar took eight years to make Red Dead Redemption 2, and GTA 6 is arguably a bigger project. What do we know so far? Firstly, it’s quite foreseeable that PlayStation 5 will launch until then, so we can expect GTA 6 to be created for more consoles than any game of the franchise yet. As for its location, there have been some allegations that it will take place in the Americas in the 1970s and 80s - perhaps in a mix of fictional towns of previous games - but there were also some mentions of South America. One thing’s for sure - we expect the architecture and vehicles to be extremely realistic, no matter where the story is set. And we expect a huuuuge map - both South and North America would be awesome. There have been some leaks that claim that the protagonist will be a female, for the first time ever, while some mention a Ricardo. Honestly, we believe that, if nothing, there will be more than one playable character, just like in GTA 5. At this point, pretty much everything is uncertain. But it’s the right time to evoke the memories of previous GTA games while we impatiently wait for the next sequel that is undoubtedly going to be wild and push the boundaries of video games even further.

Grand Theft Auto: Vice City
- Game
- 4.4/5
Probably everyone has roamed the streets of Vice City, fictional Miami, at least once. It was a real breakthrough in the open-world games, and there’s no way nostalgia won’t hit you when you enter the old Cadillac as Tommy Vercetti. There was a GTA: Vice City craze at the time. Firstly, it was a controversial game, the first that openly presented a story mode with violent missions and explicit content. Secondly, it has won more than ten awards as the Game of the Year back in 2002, and for a good reason. And let’s face it: there aren’t better radio stations in any other game. The playlists were so good and iconic that they deserve to be downloaded for car rides in real life! Fever 105 was my jam - what about you?

Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas
- Game
- 4.6/5
GTA: San Andreas sequel is often considered to be the most popular entry out of all GTA video games, and it’s undoubtedly one of the most famous storylines in the open-world games. Carl Johnson, or better yet, CJ, explores the fictional U.S. state of San Andreas. There have been many guesses about real-life references, but most probably, it is based on California and Nevada. Your home is the gangster hood in Los Santos, aka Los Angeles, and you get to explore the Santa Maria (aka Monica) beach and hike to Vinewood (aka Hollywood) sign. Then you move to the steep streets of San Fierro (aka San Francisco) before you venture to casinos in Las Venturas (aka Las Vegas) and cruise through heavily-trafficked streets surrounded by palm trees. All in all - GTA: San Andreas is an incredible journey full of real-life references and genuine landscapes, with a strong and emotional plot.

Grand Theft Auto III
- Game
- 4.1/5
Here’s where it all started. The three islands of Liberty City, the beginning of the world of gangs, corruption, and open-world design. Although the storyline of GTA III is still underdeveloped compared to its successors - it took me only around 3 and a half hours to complete it - it still deserves a shout out. It’s the first 3D game of the series, and it’s the beginning of Rockstar’s trademark. Can you imagine how difficult it was to create all the game elements at the time? Only 23 people worked on its development! They had to overcome the limitations of RAM, CDs, DVDs, etc. Also, when you take a look at the graphics, oh boy… You can really see how far we have come.

Grand Theft Auto IV
- Game
- 4.2/5
Everyone had great expectations about Grand Theft Auto IV, especially after the incredible success that its forerunners had achieved. And while it didn’t disappoint in the story mode, I was still left with the impression that the graphics and possibilities failed to emulate what everyone expected. Don’t get me wrong - GTA IV has cool missions, the famous fictional city of Liberty City that resembles NY City is larger than the most maps, and Niko Bellic is a unique character. But when it’s compared to its predecessor, GTA: San Andreas, and its successor, GTA V, it seems that it fails to meet the standard that is expected of the in-between game. I don’t really know what happened to the driving system in this game, but it is a bit awkward. However, GTA IV still captures one thing better than all entries in the series: it manages to depict the actual pursuit of the “American Dream” from the point of view of a foreigner without any pick-colored eyeglasses, albeit too violent and bleak at times.

Grand Theft Auto V
- Game
- 4.5/5
After many years, Rockstar was back with the next game of the franchise in 2013. And the gap of five years was enough to create a completely new, until then, inconceivable experience and quality, especially in terms of graphics. Grand Theft Auto V challenges the boundaries that were set in every aspect. Los Santos, based on LA, contains details and scenery you would’ve never imagined could be translated onto a video game, including the largest map so far. Pretty much everything has been expanded - starting from the characters. As the game progresses, you get to play three characters - Franklin Clinton (does he remind you of CJ, or is it just me?), Michael De Santa, Trevor Philips, and, in one instance - a dog, Chop. The customization of the vehicles has been brought on to the next level, as well. You will never run out of possibilities in this game - you can explore the beach, play golf or darts, go bowling, walk the dog, or even get wasted. Oh, yes, you can parachute jump, too, while you enjoy the breathtaking view from Mount Chiliad. And when you grow tired of roaming the world and playing mini-games, you ought to indulge in the main plot that is, ultimately, about well-organized heists that will bring your adrenaline to the maximum level. After you’re done with single-player heists, you can move on to the online version of this game, Grand Theft Auto Online, and pull off heists (and much more) with other players. Aside from the open-world activities and heists, two other popular game modes of the online version are races (car, bike, air, or boat), and the deathmatch that brings out your competitive spirit. GTA 5 offers limitless possibilities, really - even more so with the multiplayer version that has grown to be extremely popular. And that’s a good thing because it seems that the time before GTA 6 will come out is still relatively far away. So go and (re)explore all the nooks and crannies of this amazing game; you’ll surely find something new!
