ARMA 2is an open world, military simulation video game developed and published by Bohemia Interactive for Microsoft Windows. It is the sequel toARMA: Armed Assault(ARMA: Combat Operationsin North America), and the predecessor toARMA 3.ARMA 2saw a limited release in May 2009, and a wide release from June 2009 through July 2009. An expansion pack titledARMA 2: Operation Arrowheadwas released in 2010. In June 2011, a free version of the game was released, featuring multiplayer and limited single-player modes. It is also considered the official successor ofOperation Flashpoint: Cold War Crisis(which has since been renamed toARMA: Cold War Assaultby Bohemia Interactive).

The game had sold 2.3 million copies as of February 2015.
