Books like Wisdom from the Four Agreements

According to the author, The Four Agreements were created to offer the possibility of ending emotional pain and opening the possibility of enjoying a fuller and more rewarding life. Although there are some interesting points made, the author presents his thesis in a rather simplistic and Pollyanna manner. The problem is that these principles cannot be taken at face value but can only be used as general guidelines in our lives. I believe that there are valid exceptions to each of these four agreements that several other reviewers have adeptly outlined. In my view, this is not a book that offers any great insights
