Books like The Dream Tree

This book in particular has very special meaning to me, and is one of the few books that sparked my interest in reading. My father used to read this book (amongst a few others) every night when I was little, and I in turn read it to my sister and brother as they grew up. Now my husband and I read this to our daughter at least once a week..This is one of the most magical books EVER. I love this story for so many reasons - mostly to love yourself as you are and that things do change, and usually for the better.This author (Stephen Cosgrove) is wonderful, I have not found a book of his I would not recommend. I still have the ORIGINAL copy, from the early 1980s! If you can find the collection series, with all the stories in one bind, I recommend it!
